How Ordering Works
Simple steps to personalise and order your 3D printed gifts.
1. Add to basket
Choose your ornament or keyring, add the name or wording you’d like, then click Add to basket.
2. Email to confirm
When you check out, your basket details are sent to me through the website and arrive as an email at orders@caledonia3dcrafts.co.uk. I’ll reply to confirm colours, details and postage before you pay.
3. I print & post
Your item is 3D printed, hand-finished and carefully packed. I’ll let you know when it’s on its way. 🎁
How Your 3D Prints Are Made
A closer look at how each piece is crafted and what makes handmade 3D prints unique.
Layer-by-layer printing
Every ornament and keyring is made using FDM 3D printing. Your design is built one layer at a time from melted filament, shaped precisely following the digital model.
This gives the prints a unique textured finish that you can see and feel up close — it’s part of the charm of handmade pieces.
Small imperfections are normal
Because every item is individually printed, small marks such as tiny layer lines, faint seams or minor surface variations can happen. These are completely normal and unavoidable in FDM printing.
They don’t affect strength or quality — they simply show your item was made by hand, not mass-produced.
Slight colour differences
Filament comes from different suppliers, and each roll can have very slight shade differences. Also, colours on screens may look a bit different to real-life prints.
I always try to match your request as closely as possible, and if something looks unusual, I’ll message you before printing.
Hand-finished with care
After printing, each piece is cleaned, trimmed, inspected and finished by hand. Any rough edges are smoothed, and I make sure everything is sturdy and looks great.
You’re receiving something truly handmade — not something stamped out in a factory.
Shipping & Packaging
How your order is packed and posted.
UK postage
Most small items (ornaments and keyrings) are sent via Royal Mail. Exact postage will depend on the size and weight of your order and will be confirmed with you by email before payment.
International orders
I’m happy to ship overseas. International postage prices vary by country, and I’ll give you a quote once I know what you’d like to order and where it’s going.
Careful packaging
Each item is carefully wrapped and packed so it arrives in great condition, ready to gift or hang.
If anything arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible with photos so I can help.

How long will my order take?
Most orders are made and ready to post within around 5–7 days, depending on how busy the workshop is. If you need something for a specific date, just let me know in your message.
Can I choose my own colours?
Yes – I have a wide range of filament colours. When you email or message me we can chat about colour options before I start.
Do you ship outside the UK?
I’m happy to post internationally. Postage will depend on the size of your order and destination, and I’ll confirm this with you before payment.
How durable are the prints?
Ornaments and keyrings are designed to be sturdy for everyday use, but they are still 3D printed plastic, so treat them with care and avoid heavy bending or crushing.
Are they safe for children?
These items are decorative, not toys. They’re generally fine around children, but small parts and keyrings should be kept away from very young children who may chew or swallow them.
How should I care for my items?
Wipe gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or very high heat (radiators, direct flames, dishwashers etc.).
